Very sloppy game at wet Central Park with very little action in front of the 18 yard box,

Cowdenbeath started the game brightly with them getting a corner in the first minute taken by Walker but the ball was cleared easily by the Braves,

They then had another opportunity after 10 minutes with a great ball through the middle but the keeper made a good save to deny Cowdenbeath.

After a slow start by the Braves they then started to come into the game with great link up play in the middle of the park but the chance ended up in the hands of the Cowdenbeath keeper.

A lot of the first half was mostly a scrappy midfield battle with the braves being able to get the ball on the ground to try and play forward but was always cancelled out by a stubborn Cowdenbeath defence who once they got the ball just tried the play the long ball up and gave it away again.

The first half drew very little to write about after this with the odd long shot and corner that was always cleared first time by either team,

Second Half started with the Braves starting brightly playing good stuff in the middle of the park played a good ball through the defence but was offside but the touch the Braves player took put it over the bar so wouldn't have counted anyway

From the kick out the The Braves got the ball back up to the Cowdenbeath 18 yard box with Kelly hitting it leading to a great save by Farrell in the Cowdenbeath goal,

First chance of the second half came for Cowdenbeath after 60 minutes coming from the left hand side but was a good save from the keeper,

From the Braves goal kick the ball fell to Robinson who ran with the ball on a great run and ended up getting a free kick 20 yards out, The leading free kick got a great save from the keeper and lead to a corner but the corner lead to nothing and was easily played away,

First and only yellow card came on 70 mins with Zak Butterworth getting put in the book after a bad challenge,

Last 10 minutes both teams gave all to try and get the win with the ball going from end to end but from 85 minutes on it only looked like one team would  score and so it happened to be on the 90th minute  was a corner from Walker played in and went right to the head to number 5 Alfie Robinson who put his header through the legs of the keeper and the ball just goes over the goal line,

Game Ended 1 v 0 to Cowdenbeath

was a very scrappy game from both sides with not much chances

Caley played well in the midfield but in the final third looked lost

The last 5 minutes was the best Cowdenbeath played and took their chance when it came

Attendance was 202
